Arches Mission Bay was a record-breaking residential launch in Auckland, with all 21 2-bedroom apartments selling within 14 days.
Very much a collaborative effort, with the Crafted Projects Collective involved in design details every step of the way. It was critically important to us that we weren't just introducing another glazed box apartment building to Auckland. Nor did we just want a replica of what worked overseas. As our first launch into the city of sails, and with one of the directors living locally, we wanted a design that would fit naturally into its relaxed coastal surroundings of Mission Bay, yet offering a clasically refined luxury. The central courtyard living design ensured that all apartments were unique, and enabled community building from day one.

The pared back design, and premium specification clearly resonated with the market, with many of those twenty one buyers already locals themselves, which is the biggest nod to design done well.
Architectural design was by Paterson Cullen Archaus, with Naylor Booth & Associates on interiors, LA4 on landscape architecture, Front Room on marketing, Litchfield + Fields for the scale model and the stunning architectural renderings were done by Matter Visuals.

Created with space to unwind, to retreat and to share, the curated collection of two bedroom residences were intentionally sized for life. No two apartments are quite the same, yet all are unified by an overarching pledge to liveability and size with two bathrooms, spacious kitchens, clever utility spaces and free-flowing indoor/outdoor living.
Calm coastal interiors were designed to echo their seaside surroundings. Decisions remain thoughtful and timeless, yet refined and organic – inviting future residents to make this sanctuary their own. Natural stone finishes, custom joinery, Hans Grohe tapware, Bosch appliances and world-class lighting features by renowned ECC remind that every room, every inch, every detail has been carefully crafted to produce a feeling of relaxed comfort.
At home in any one of the world’s chic coastal suburbs, these elegantly easy-going apartments celebrate the small, but important details that add that feeling of luxury to every moment.
